This bird and its mate have been around a few times this year.
She has caught what looks to be a crow and is chowing down right next to our driveway.
These birds are really good at being in ‘hard to photograph’ places. While this time she is within 20 feet or so,
Some of these shots are through 2 glass windows, + screen + fence. Each section I was able to slide open one layer.
Finally, I was able to get down to 1 screen and the fence. But because it was also snowing, the diffused light made it a low contrast scene.
What is it with these birds, they seem to have a keen sense of lighting and light sensor capture.
